xperiaz-lollipops

Owners of the Motorola Droid Turbo have had to wait for a considerably long time to get a taste of Lollipop. Previously they were keeping their fingers crossed for Android 5.0 Lollipop, which first came out late last year, but in March the company announced that this device would skip Android 5.0 and go up to Android 5.1 directly. Then the wait for that update started for there’s finally some good news regarding the release date, Android 5.1 for Motorola Droid Turbo is going to be released on June 10th.

Nothing is worse than having to wait to get a major software update on your device while all of the other OEMs keep rolling it out for their devices.

Many Android OEMs have already released Lollipop for their devices, they’re done with their high-end lineups and are now focusing on mid-range and low-end devices.

On the other hand Motorola Droid Turbo users are having to count down the days until the company finally brings Android 5.1. Well, there’s confirmation now that the update for this device is finally going to be released on June 10th.

Given the fact that software updates are rolled out in stages, all users shouldn’t expect to receive it on June 10th, but they should rest assured once the roll out starts that the update will arrive on their handset in the very near future.
