Earlier Bethesda unveiled the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition and also announced that the game would be released on the 10th of November later this year. However if you can’t wait for the game to be released, perhaps this might whet your appetite for now. The company has also a mobile Fallout game in the form of Fallout Shelter.

The game has been released on iOS but unfortunately its Android counterpart has yet to be launched, but according to Bethesda it will be coming. According to the description of the game, “Fallout Shelter puts you in control of a state-of-the-art underground Vault from Vault-Tec. Build the perfect Vault, keep your Dwellers happy, and protect them from the dangers of the Wasteland.”

Bethesda’s Todd Howard claims that the game has been inspired by the likes of Little Computer People, XCOM, SimCity, and FTL, so if you have enjoyed those titles then perhaps Fallout Shelter could be something worth checking out. The game is free to play and will not require players to have an internet connection.

There will be in-app purchases that will let players buy more lunchboxes which are essentially loot chests. These purchases aren’t necessary in order to play or enjoy the game but they are there in case you need them. The game has already been released so head on over to the iTunes App Store for the download.
