twitter-landscape-videos-apps

Earlier this year Twitter brought the in-app video recording feature to its mobile applications, however it only allowed users to record and share videos captured in portrait orientation. The fact remains that most users would rather capture said video in landscape and share that instead, since square cropped and portrait videos don’t really hold a candle to landscape videos. This seems to have struck Twitter because now it’s finally allowing users to record and share landscape video through its mobile applications.

Twitter’s in-app video recording feature is quite simple to begin with. Just tap down on the record button to capture video, users can shoot one or multiple clips.

Then it’s straight into the editor where minor edits can be made to the clips. The last part is sharing and that’s the most easiest part, finished video clip is added to the tweet which can then be shared instantly with the world.

Users won’t have to do anything different to record landscape videos inside the Twitter app. All they need to do is fire up the feature and then flip their phone sideways, the app will change orientation and allow users to capture the clip which can then be edited and shared in minutes.

Twitter’s video feature is currently limited to its iPhone and Android applications which are readily available for download from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
