Motorola’s nifty little Bluetooth earbud called Moto Hint is usually sold for $150 but this week the company has decided to run a promotion for this product which sees the price being slashed by $50. Throughout the week this little gadget can be purchased for just $99, Motorola launched it last year and it was unveiled alongside the 2nd generation Moto X. Simply put the Hint is a Bluetooth earbud that can be paired with a smartphone and can be used to make and receive phone calls.

However the Moto Hint is capable of doing much more than just taking and making phone calls. It provides users with complete control over their smartphones so they only need to use voice commands to get tasks done.

If the Hint is paired up with the Moto X, which features Moto Voice, the earbud can be used to listen to turn-by-turn directions even when the device is in the pocket. Same goes for music for catching up on recent notifications, it eliminates the need to take out the phone as long as the earbud is placed in your ear.

The earbud automatically charges in its carrying case and will turn on or off on its own when it’s inside the ear or out. Motorola’s promotion runs through June 30th and during this period the Moto Hint can be purchased from its website for $99.
