Batman: Arkham Knight has been around for a couple of weeks now which means that many gamers have already completed the game as well the various side missions so they’re certainly looking out for more. That’s probably why Warner Bros. has announced the first story based DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight which is going to arrive later this month, the first DLC for this title features playable Batgirl.

The first DLC is called Batgirl: A Matter of Family and it will be released for season pass holders on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 14th, those want to purchase it separately will have to wait until July 21st.

This story based DLC is set before the events of Arkham Asylum and will let players assume the role of Batgirl for the very first time in this entire franchise, it brings a new location with multiple missions, secrets and side missions.

Also included in the DLC is a new hacking mechanic for solving puzzles with as well as Dual Play functionality with Robin to perform some amazing takedowns.

Warner Bros. has only announced the DLC for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One right now given that the PC version of this title is working through some issues right now.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family is going to be free for season pass holders and around $8 for everybody else.
