Google released Android 5.0 Lollipop late last year so it has been a lot of time since the software has been out there but still there are quite a few devices that haven’t received it yet. While many OEMs have confirmed whichof their devices will be getting the update, some have not fully confirmed the roadmap, which is leading to confusion among users. Galaxy Note 2owners know this all too well, and they won’t like hearing what Samsung UK has to say.

Samsung UK has confirmed through its official Twitter account that the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 won’t be receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the country.

As far as the Galaxy Note 2 is concerned there are conflicting statements by various officialSamsung social media accounts, the accounts for Poland and Finland reiterate that users in their markets will get Android 5.0 Lollipop on the Galaxy Note 2.

Elsewhere though this doesn’t appear to be the case with Samsung UK being the next in the list toconfirm that the GalaxyS3 and Galaxy Note 2 won’t get the Lollipop update.

Samsung is yet to officially confirm or deny the markets in which the update will be sent out for these devices, the fact that it’s taking its sweet time is doing so is resulting in a lot of confusion forthe users.
