lg-bello-ii-1Budget handsets have huge appeal especially in emerging markets where it might not necessarily be a good idea to drop a few hundred bucks on a high-end smartphone. Budget devices also make for good backup smartphones as well as smartphones for kids, especially if you don’t want them to damage a high-end device.

Now for those shopping for a new smartphone that won’t break the bank, you might be interested in checking out the recently announced LG Bello II. While the device is designed to be affordable, the handset does look pretty decent, and best of all it even comes with the latest version of Android preinstalled.

lg-bello-ii-12The LG Bello II will also sport a 5-inch 854×480 display and under the hood, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor can be found. There will be 1GB of RAM accompanying the smartphone along with 8GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD. There will also be a 5MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera, NFC, and a 2,540mAh battery.

Pricing has yet to be determined but based on its specs, it probably will be affordable. As far as availability is concerned, it will be launched in emerging markets such as Brazil, Chile, Mexico, India, and the CIS region. It is also expected to launch in Europe but to date there has not been any mention as to a potential US launch.
