lumia-950-xl-1

Microsoft is expected to launch two new flagship handsets this year, multiple reports suggest that the handsets will be called Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Much has already been rumored about these devices but so far there haven’t been that many leaks which show what the device actually look like. Today few images of what is said to be the Lumia 950 XL have leaked online offering us a glimpse of what this flagship device really looks like.

WPXAP, a Chinese website, has leaked images of a Lumia 950 XL prototype today, the handset appears to be hidden inside a protective casing which doesn’t reveal much about the actual design itself.

It is evident though that the handset comes with a USB Type-C port, an addition that many fans would certainly appreciate. The Verge confirms that these leaked images are accurate.

Microsoft has not yet confirmed when it’s going to launch these new flagship handsets, rumor has it that an announcement can be made at an event in late September or early October.

Both handsets are likely to have more or less similar specifications with nominal differences, though it can be said with surety that they will be the first flagship devices that come with Windows 10 Mobile straight out of the box.
