Merely a day after Sony confirmed the free titles that PlayStation Plus members are going to receive next month Microsoft is out with its own list of games. Xbox Live Gold members get four free titles this September, two on the Xbox One and two on the Xbox 360 as part of the company’s Games with Gold program.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, a $29.99 value, is free for Xbox One owners next month as long as they are on the Xbox Live Gold program. This is a very good addition to the lineup that many console owners will appreciate, particularly if they have been meaning to pick up this title any way.

Also available free for Xbox One next month is The Deer God which usually costs $14.99, it will be available for the entire month whereas Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be free from September 16th to October 15th.

Starting September 1st the $24.99 Battlestations Pacific is free for Xbox 360 through September 15th, and from the very next day the $19.99 value Crysis 3 will go free for this console all the way to September 30th.

That’s a pretty good lineup for both consoles, Xbox Live Gold members are certainly getting great bang for their bucks with these free games.
