ipad_pro_4By now we’re sure many have heard that Apple is working on a larger iPad called the iPad Pro. Now thanks to the folks at 9to5Mac, potential details of the upcoming tablet has been revealed, such as its storage size and potential accessories that will be sold with it. It should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but 9to5Mac has had a pretty decent track record, so let’s dive into it.

Starting with storage size, unlike the other iPads, the iPad Pro is said to ship with 64GB of storage as its base. There will not be a smaller 16GB offering, although it has been rumored that Apple will offer a 128GB option, but it will be more pricey. It is also rumored to run on iOS 9.1 which is in line with the rumors that the tablet will only be released in November.

The iPad Pro is also rumored to feature a more beefed up version of split-screen. This will allow two full-sized iPad apps to be displayed side-by-side, taking advantage of its large display. There are also rumors that Apple will not bundle the stylus or keyboard accessory with the tablet. While the keyboard accessory doesn’t come as a surprise, we would have thought the stylus would have been a default in order to show off its full capabilities.

Pricing remains unknown but apparently it will make choices difficult for customers trying to decide between the iPad Pro and a larger MacBook, meaning we could be looking at a price point starting at $1,000. In any case the rumors claim that the tablet will be announced on the 9th of September, so check back with us tomorrow for the details if there are any to be had.
