It was not too long ago that OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei shared with the rest of the world how there will be yet another (the third, of course) OnePlus handset which will hit the market before we bid adieu to 2015, and the release date would be close to Christmas. Of course, in the fast paced world of technology, things do change easily from time to time, and perhaps a Christmas release might be a bit pessimistic especially after OnePlus has promoted a teaser on their Google+ site, sporting a leather-type material in the background. Right smack at the bottom of the image would be the words “A bit of welcome luxury.”
Are we looking at a leather SwapStyle rear cover for the OnePlus 2, and this is just the teaser? Or could we be looking at a really luxurious leather-clad handset from OnePlus that is all set to roll out? Who knows, really, until the time actually comes, but right now, we do know that existing SwapStyle covers for the OnePlus 2 will include the likes of Black Kevlar, Bamboo, Rosewood and Black Apricot, where each of them will set you back by $26.99. Do expect pricing and availability of this luxurious SwapStyle cover to be announced sooner rather than later.
