lumia-950-triple-flashIf you’re excited to see what kind of flagship Lumia phones are dreamt up by Microsoft since their acquisition of Nokia, come next Tuesday all should be revealed. However in the meantime if you can’t wait, don’t worry because thanks to newly leaked renders, additional information about the upcoming Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL has been revealed.

The photos, courtesy of Windows Central, are clearer than some of those we have seen recently. As you can see in the image above, it shows off the the alleged back of the Lumia 950 and clear as day, you can make out the fact that the flash unit for the phone has a triple LED setup.

Lumia 950-back2This is versus the one or even two LED setup that we typically see on most phones. This should result in a much brighter/powerful flash, but whether or not the flash is smart enough to prevent unnecessarily harsh photos remains to be seen. However given that Nokia’s previous flagship phones have been known for their camera prowess, hopefully Microsoft will be applying those same principles here.

The triple LED flash is also present on the Lumia 950 XL as you can see in the image above as well. Recently thanks to higher-res renders, we have caught some other details about the phones, like how the Lumia 950 will have an iris scanner on the front of the phone, but remember to check back with us next week for the official details.
