force-awakensJust about everyone is excited about the upcoming Star Wars movie that is set to happen in the middle of December, and you can be dead sure that this is going to be a massive blockbuster hit by all accounts. The question is, just how far will this movie be able to go? Ticket presales have already crashed ticketing websites (no surprise here), but to hear of scalpers offering opening night Star Wars tickets for up to a whopping $10,000? That is practically insane, and perhaps some sort of devious Jedi mind trick is being employed here.

Throughout sites such as Craigslist and eBay, ticket holders for opening night screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens this coming 17th of December do look forward to making a quick buck by selling off their seats for prices that have been inflated many times over. You can take your pick – a 3D showing at 10:20 p.m. in Los Angeles is going for a grand, while those who would want to watch it in IMAX will have to fork out $750 a pop, among others.

Others are going all out by selling the ticket for $10,000 – while offering a limo ride so that you can arrive in style, and if you happen to be from out of town, a night’s stay at a hotel is also thrown into the mix. What do you think of all this frenzy? After all, it is still the same movie that will be shown on the second, third, and subsequent days. While waiting, you can always continue getting your Star Wars fix by watching the trailer over and over again.
