iPadPro_Lifestyle-Editing-PRINTEarlier this week we brought word that iPad Pro users were complaining of charging issues with their tablet. Basically it seems that when plugged in for charging, some users are experiencing situations where the tablet just shuts itself off and will not turn back on. Only a hard reset will turn the iPad Pro back on which is hardly an ideal scenario.

The good news is that Apple has since acknowledged the problem by posting a support document on its website. The document pretty much tells users to keep doing what they have been doing, which is a hard reset. “To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.”

The Cupertino company has also stated in the document that they are aware of the issue and are looking into it, and will update the document when more information has been made available. At this point in time we’re not sure if this is a hardware or software issue but we’re hoping that it is software that can be fixed with an update.

In the meantime iPad Pro users affected by this can try and take it back to the store and see if they can get an exchange, if not we guess you guys will just have to remain patient until a fix is released for it.
