oneplus-x_ubergizmo_07If you like what you see in the OnePlus X and have made a reservation to get your invite, you might be pleased to learn that OnePlus has officially announced that the invites are now live meaning that you can go ahead and claim them to order your phone. For those who have yet to reserve an invite, you can go ahead and do so on OnePlus’ website.

That being said, the company had announced that for the first month, the OnePlus X will be invite-only. After this, OnePlus is expected to make the handset available on a wider scale, so even if you miss your chance now, next month you should be able to look out for the handset via other channels, although you can still try your luck for now reserving an invite.

For those who might have forgotten what kind of specs the OnePlus X is packing, the phone will feature a 5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset can be found with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 2,525mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

As for upgrading to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the company did state that this is something they’re working on but no timeframe has been given for a potential release. The OnePlus X also comes with 4G LTE but as per our previous report, due to the use of different bands the handset might have issue with LTE in the US, something to take note of if you are planning on getting the phone.
