Remember when Sony confirmed that PS2 games will be compatible with the PS4? The good news is that if you were looking forward to playing some classic PS2 games on your console, you might be pleased to learn that Sony has since officially announced the list of games that will be available starting from tomorrow.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony lists titles such as Dark Cloud, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Rogue Galaxy, The Mark of Kri, Twisted Metal: Black, and War of the Monsters as being the titles that will be available at launch. They are priced from $9.99 to $14.99.

Sony also notes that other titles will be on their way, such as PaRappa the Rapper 2 and The King of Fighters 2000. According to Sony, “Also, you will be able to experience all of these PS2 games like never before — in up-rendered 1080p with the features you expect from a PS4 game including Remote Play, Live Broadcast, Share Play, Activity Feeds, and Second Screen support for game manuals with PlayStation Vita or PlayStation App.”

This also seems to confirm that there will not be any disc support as these titles seem to have all been remastered with modern features. So if you do own any PS2 discs, you’d be out of luck but if you wanted to re-live some classics on your PS4 but don’t mind paying for it, then we guess this is for you.
