band2-standThe folks over Microsoft have begun to sell a rather unique stand which will cater for the Band 2 smartwatch. Of course, this particular band will retail for $19.99 a pop, and it does not come with a charging cable so you will still need to pick that up separately. The stand itself will be weighted, ensuring that it does not slide around on a flat surface, which is an improvement based on the fan-made stands that were created using 3D printers.

This is a charging stand that claims to be “stylishly designed”, where it intends to assist with cable management while having yet another function – to hopefully usurp the role of your table clock. Admittedly, if your table clock is a relic from the 1980s, then this is one cool clock to have, otherwise, your futuristic looking clock might still have a place in your home. There will be a magnetized adhesion that makes it a snap to remove as well as re-attach the charging cable.

Whenever it sees action, the charging cable can be tucked away from sight, ensuring that things remain tangle-free all the time. Not only that, the weight as well as rubberized base ensures that it will remain nice and stable each time your Band charges up from an empty battery.
