Those who own the Xbox One can get their hands on a free trial of a good title, a free trial of Rise of the Tomb Raider is available now for the Xbox One, players get access to the first part of the game which means that they’ll be able to get about half an hour’s worth of story playback from the title. This should be enough to convince most players whether or not they want to spent their money on this game.

Free Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One demo is available through the title’s page on the Xbox Store, the download size is over 20GB, which actually matches the install size of the full game. So if you decide to purchase it after playing the demo you won’t have to wait for the full game to be downloaded.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was one title that many Xbox fans had been anxiously looking forward to, and even though it brought in good reviews, sales haven’t been as high as expected. It’s likely that sales of this title were impacted since it was launched alongside Fallout 4, which no doubt is much more popular than this title.

So far this title has only been released for the Xbox but a recent listing suggests that the game might finally be released for PC by January 2016 in a bid to boost sales by launching it on the desktop platform. It’s not available on PlayStation 4 right now since Microsoft has exclusive console rights to Rise of the Tomb Raider for one year but we can expect it to arrive on Sony’s current-gen console by fall 2016.
