sprintholidaygiftbasketWhile it is obvious that all the major carriers in the US are furiously trying to compete with each other, T-Mobile has been the most vocal and outspoken about it, largely thanks to the company’s CEO John Legere who has no issues bashing the competition and speaking his mind from time to time

This is why it doesn’t come as a surprise to learn that their competitors are responding in kind. According to a report from TmoNews, it seems that Sprint has recently trolled the folks at T-Mobile by sending them gift baskets. We suppose this could be seen as a nice gesture, and for the most part it is. However in these baskets, Sprint has include a URL to their careers website.

Basically it sounds like Sprint is trying to entice T-Mobile employees into joining their ranks. Whether or not they are serious we can’t be sure, but it is certainly a valiant attempt anyway. According to TmoNews, it seems that T-Mobile has been trying to keep this on the downlow so as not to give Sprint more attention.

They have even instructed store managers to toss out the baskets, which does seem to be a waste but as you can see from these photos, it looks like not all managers decided to heed the higher-ups’ decisions.
