iphone-5s-review-009

It has been consistenly rumored over the past few months that Apple is working on a smaller iPhone. The company has worked on a similar project in the past but the iPhone 5C didn’t really perform as well as Apple would have liked. It has taken a couple of years off since then and is now expected to come out with a new smaller iPhone this March. According to a report, 2it will be called the iPhone 5SE and that the base model will only feature 16GB onboard storage.

It’s believed that the iPhone 5SE is going to replace the iPhone 6 in Apple’s lineup, the handset will reportedly feature Apple’s A9 processor with M9 motion co-processor with 16GB storage. Customers will also be able to purchase the iPhone 5SE with more onboard storage but that’s obviously going to cost them more money.

Many of the company’s fans might not like this, that the base model of its upcoming smaller iPhone will feature only 16GB storage, and since the iPhones have never supported external expansion via microSD cards we can’t expect Apple to add support for external storage in this handset.

Apple is said to be preparing for an event in March where it might unveil a tweaked version of the Apple Watch, possibly an iPad Air 3 and perhaps the much rumored smaller iPhone might also make an appearance.
