I’m sure many fans of the Gears of War franchise are waiting for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition to arrive. It remasters the hit game that was released for Xbox 360 back in 2006. It was in summer last year that Microsoft released Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One and it confirmed back then that this will eventually be released on PC as well. We’re close to that PC release now as the title has now been listed on the Windows 10 Store.

The Gears of War: Ultimate Edition listing on the Windows 10 Store mentions that the game has been stunningly remastered and modernized for Windows 10, that it has “all-new ultra-high definition graphics up to 4K”, and that it showcases the “latest in PC gaming performance.”

Minimum and recommended PC specs for this game are also mentioned in the listing. Do check them out if you’re planning to play this game on PC. There are different recommended settings based on the quality of graphics you want, full HD or 4K.

Even though the game has been listed on the Windows 10 Store it’s not yet available for purchase. Given that it has been listed it may only be a matter of time before PC gamers can purchase Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. We’ll update you when the game goes live for Windows 10.
