There has been a lot of Hitman-related news recently as the hype picks up. A beta of the new Hitman game recently went live and the game itself will be released very soon. Square Enix has announced today that it’s going to release Hitman Go: Definitive Edition next week. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC.

It’s not like the other Hitman games you might have played. This is a turn-based spin-off title based on the popular franchise. Hitman Go: Definitive Edition is going to come up with improved graphics and will feature all post-launch content that was released for the original version.

The original version of this game was only released for mobile devices. Nicolas Verge, community manager at Square Enix Montreal, says that the Definitive Edition is basically the old Hitman Go that players loved on mobile, with improved graphics and additional content. It’s going to be the same experience that players have come to love on mobile.

The PlayStation version supports crossbuy so buying it on the PlayStation 4 gets you a copy of the Vita version as well and vice versa. Cross save is also supported between the two Sony consoles. Players on PlayStation will also be able to unlock a Platinum trophy if they complete everything in the game without using any hints.

Square Enix hasn’t confirmed as yet how much Hitman Go: Definitive Edition will cost when it’s released for PS4, PS Vita and PC on February 23rd, 2016.
