htc_one_m10_whiteAccording to the rumors, the upcoming HTC One M10 is said to resemble the HTC One A9 more than the other HTC One M series of phones. While there is nothing wrong with the One M series, we suppose after years of seeing a similar-ish design, it is nice to see HTC try something new. Thanks to a recent tweet by @evleaks, it looks like we now know that a white finish is a possibility.

As you can see in the image above, you can’t be blamed if you thought that the phone in the photo was the iPhone as it admittedly shares some similarities, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However it also marks a very huge departure in design for HTC. One of the features that defined the HTC One M series was its front-facing BoomSound speakers.

However it is obvious that HTC has decided to take away that feature. It also appears that HTC has also decided to include a home button where presumably this is where the fingerprint sensor would reside. Overall we have to admit that it does look pretty sleek and we have to wonder if this phone will be able to jump start HTC’s ailing business.

The phone has been rumored to be skipping an MWC announcement. Given that HTC has yet to announce or send out invites to MWC, it’s starting to look very likely. In fact the rumors are claiming that the phone might be announced in April during a standalone event held by HTC themselves, and that it could also see a release in the US on the 9th of May.
