sony xperia z5So you are looking forward to picking up Sony’s latest flagship model, the Xperia Z5 over here in the US after waiting for quite some time already, having been taken in by reports of its amazing camera performance in addition to its Snapdragon 810 chipset that works perfectly fine without overheating. Well, good news if you fall into that category – the Xperia Z5 as well as Z5 Compact will hit the US from the 7th of February onward, where the first retailers to carry the latest Sony flagship handsets are Best Buy, B&H, and Amazon.com.

Just to refresh our memories, what does both the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact come with? They will sport a 5.2” 1080p or 4.6” 720p Triluminous display, a Snapdragon 810 chipset with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, a 2700mAh or 2900mAh battery, and an immersion rating of IP68 with capless USB port.

Do take note that there will be no fingerprint sensor thrown into the mix for the US-bound version of both Xperia Z5 handsets, although the reason remains unknown. Expect the unlocked Xperia Z5 to arrive for $599.99 a pop, whereas the Z5 Compact will be a Benjamin more affordable at $499.99. Any one interested to pick either handset up?
