Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-21If you own the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on AT&T’s network and you’re wondering when you will be able to get your hands on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, you might be interested to learn that the release of the update could be as soon as today. This is according to several AT&T customers who have reached out to the carrier’s representatives, who then informed them that the update could be pushed out today.

According to the chat that customers have had with representatives of the carrier, they have been told that the update will be arriving on the 11th of March (today) for the Galaxy Note 5. In addition to that, it seems that the carrier’s reps have also told customers that the update for the Galaxy S6 will be arriving on the 14th of March, several days later.

No doubt this is good news for Note 5 owners, but we guess since sometimes reps can get their information wrong, perhaps it’s best not to get your hopes up just yet. However if it is true, then maybe you should start clearing up some space on your phone for the update. Given that we’ve started seeing carriers push out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for several devices already, we suppose it was only a matter of time before the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 on AT&T received theirs.
