Star Wars Battlefront fans are excited that the Outer Rim expansion is going to arrive soon. They might have missed a nugget of information that was part of the announcement. The upcoming Star Wars Battlefront update is going to bring a spectator mode which is going to be available to all players for free. This information was present in the news release that was sent out earlier this week.

A total of four paid expansions will be released for Star Wars Battlefront and Outer Rim is the very first one. Season Pass holders get all four paid expansions for $49.99.

Outer Rim adds more playable heroes to the game like Greedo, Rodian and Sullustan Nien Numb. It also features new maps set in Jabba the Hutt’s palace, his sail barge as well as a map on Nunb’s homeworld. New weapons are included too.

The video posted above shows all of the content that’s featured in the first paid DLC for this game. Outer Rim can be purchased on its own for $14.99 though players get a much better deal if they get the $49.99 Season Pass.

The spectator mode is going to be free to all Star Wars Battlefront players and it will arrive with a title update on Tuesday. Outer Rim paid DLC for Battlefront is also out on Tuesday, March 22nd.
