Fallout 4 console mods will be available in the very near future. In-game modding tools for this popular game will start arriving next month. These tools will enable players to build all sorts of new experiences in Fallout 4 on their consoles, be it quests, dialogue, environments, outfits and much more. Fallout 4 is going to have an in-game interface where players can sort through all of the mods, favorite and bookmark them as per their liking.

Bethesda says that mods and the players that create them have always been an important part of its games, going all the way back to Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls Construction Set. It believes that its games become more special with the power of creation is given to the players.

Its goal for Fallout 4 was to make mods easier and more accessible than ever before, both for players and creators. It has thus created an all new system with Bethesda.net and considers it a huge leap forward in achieving that goal.

Mods are already available for Fallout 4 on PC. The Creation Kit, the same that Bethesda used to create Fallout 4, is a free download via the Bethesda.net launcher.

Bethesda has confirmed that the in-game modding tools will arrive for Fallout 4 on Xbox One starting next month and on PlayStation 4 starting June.
