The recently released gameplay video of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End shows us just how capable the PlayStation 4 is but Naughty Dog believes that there’s more power to be unlocked. The studio may have created one of the best-looking games available yet for PlayStation 4 but it’s of the view that the next game it comes out with is going to “get even more” out of the PlayStation 4.
“There are definitely areas that I can see that we will be able to do better things already, after this,” Ricky Cambier, lead designer, told DualShockers. He praised the programmers at Naughty Dog and their ability to do what they do at the studio.
He points out that the different between the first Uncharted versus The Last of Us is enormous and that goes to show that studio strives to get the best out of the platforms it makes games for. “There is no doubt that the next thing we do, we’re gonna get even more out of that PlayStation,” Cambier said.
It’s good that Cambiers reiterated that Naughty Dog is going to develop more titles for PlayStation 4 that properly harness the console’s power, however, he didn’t offer any hints about the studio’s next game, nor did he mention the areas in which the studio is going to improve in.
If you didn’t already know, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the next big release for Naughty Dog. This game is due for release on May 10th, 2016.
