If you’re a subscriber of Sony’s PlayStation Now service, you might be interested to learn that a recent announcement by Sony on their PlayStation blog has revealed that in celebration of the Resident Evil’s franchise turning 20 years old, both Sony and Capcom have decided to add two more Resident Evil titles to the list of games.

This comes in the form of Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2: The Complete Season. The former has been described as, “The story is set at a time before the Kijuju and Lanshiang bioterror incidents when the BSAA was still a young organization. Join Jill Valentine aboard a ghost ship in the Mediterranean Sea searching for her old partner, Chris Redfield. Learn the hidden truth behind the destruction of a floating city.”

As for Revelations 2, Sony wrote, “A brand new tale in the Resident Evil Revelations saga, with distinct episodes, each of which features hours of terrifying gameplay and dramatic cliffhangers to leave players eagerly anticipating the next twist in the gripping horror story.”

With the addition of these two titles, the number of Resident Evil titles part of PlayStation Now will be 8, which includes Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.
