star_trek_pinballAre you a fan of pinball? Are you also a fan of Star Trek? If your answer to both questions is a yes, then you might be interested in checking out this pretty epic-looking Star Trek pinball machine that also doubles up as a coffee table. Now we know that there are probably several Star Trek pinball machines in existence, but we reckon none of them look like this.

The pinball machine-slash-coffee table is currently being sold by ALTAR Furniture and according to the description, it is one-of-a-kind. “The table is a one of a kind as it is. Not only does it feature an original Star Trek pinball playfield, with new electronic controls, and LED lighting, but has four real meteorites built into its back container. Also, there are three lit Dilithium crystals to fuel this beauty (these were not easy to acquire, as they don’t really exist).”

That being said, this machine isn’t new per se. If the product description is any accurate, it was actually made back in 1991 and sold by Data East. It also reportedly took 390 hours to put together, so safe to say that a lot of time was spent building it. It also claims to contain  Muoninalusta, a Chelyabinsk, a Moldavite and an Indochynite meteorite pieces inside which does sound pretty exotic.

Unfortunately if you wish to own it, it will not come cheap as it is priced at 7,828 EUR which is roughly $8,812 when converted.
