vizio-smartcast-m-series-tvWe do know that Vizio is a company that churns out really, really affordable TVs without having to compromise on the hardware, not to mention that some of their TV sets could eventually arrive with Chromecast built into it. This time around, we have received word that the Vizio M-Series TVs will now boast of an Android controller, while those who decide to opt for the E-Series will be able to enjoy 4K viewing at a highly affordable price, relatively speaking, of course.

One would not need to have to break the bank in order to pick up any of Vizio’s higher-end P-Series TVs so that they can enjoy more features in their living room, as the recently introduced M-Series and E-Series sets are able to feature some of the more convenient and useful functions. For instance, the M-Series now makes use of a 6” Android tablet remote that will run Vizio’s very own SmartCast app, while supporting Google Cast streaming from other devices within the vicinity.

Not only that, you will find that it comes with double the number of active LED lighting zones that will result in higher contrast ratios, in addition to Dolby Vision and HDR video support. Apparently the 4K-only range will begin at a ridiculously affordable $850 if you would like the 50” model, or you can burn through $4,000 in order to pick up the 80” model.

.As for the updated E-Series, it will now boast of 4K models as well, if you are interested. [Press Release]
