transformers-tabletI suppose those who picked up the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 would have been pretty happy with the tablet, as it will run on either Android or Windows 10, and proved to be quite the top seller over in its home market of China, having sold out in just a minute after being made available. Well, if you would like a Mi Pad 2 that is cooler, then you might want to check out the Xiaomi MiPad Transformers Special Edition.

It comes in the form of a Decepticon Transformer, so do not be fooled into thinking that this is one tablet that can actually be used when it is fixed together. It is basically a Xiaomi-themed toy, and will be far more affordable than the actual tablet itself. It does have a convincing look to it when seen from the back, and this particular toy was created as part of Xiaomi’s 6th birthday celebrations, although whispers on the street have it that it will be a crowd-funded product – no one really knows.

Basically, those who are interested should be able to place an order for their very own Mi Pad Decepticon from the 6th of April onward, with each of these toys costing approximately $20 a pop while shipments kick off this coming 13th of May. Perhaps it might be a delayed April Fool’s joke, but it does look legit at time of publishing.
