The new DOOM game is going to be launched in the near future which is why Bethesda and id software have today released the launch trailer for DOOM. The trailer gives us a better glimpse of the single player campaign in this first-person shooter game. DOOM is going to be released in the very near future for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Fans of the franchise will have to make do with this until the game arrives.

As you would expect the trailer shows lots of blood and shooting so fans of the franchise will not be disappointed with any of it. We also get a glimpse of the new monsters and demons who players will be up against. It all looks very good.

Bear in mind that all of the footage in the launch trailer is from the single-player campaign of the new DOOM game. It will have multiplayer modes as well and does feature Snapmap, an editing tool that will allow players to make and share their own maps for single-player and multiplayer modes.

You can still pre-order DOOM if you haven’t already. Those who pre-order the digital version for Xbox One will get copies of the original DOOM and DOOM II for Xbox 360 which can also be played on Xbox One as they’re backwards compatible. Those who pre-order it for PC get a free digital copy of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

DOOM will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 13th.
