Google is aiming to make small group sharing easy with a new tool that it has introduced today called Spaces. It aims to streamline the entire process by eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps to copy and paste links, ensure that things don’t get lost in endless threads and that group conversations remain on topic. It seeks to address all of those issues and more related to small group sharing with Spaces.

Spaces is a new app that Google has released today, it lets people come together and instantly share around any topic. The app makes it easy to find and share images, articles and videos without having to leave the app. It does that by leveraging Google’s biggest properties, Google Search, Chrome and YouTube as all three are baked inside Spaces.

When a group member shares something new to a space the conversational view lets users see what the group is talking about without missing out on anything that might have been shared previously. A search feature is built-in so finding things shared in the past is real easy as well.

Users can create a space with just one tap for any topic and invite anyone to the space through email, messaging, a social network, or through any way they like.

Spaces is rolling out starting today for Android, desktop, iOS and mobile web for all Gmail accounts.
