We know, you can’t believe that in less than a month, you will be able to watch the Warcraft movie finally! Now whether or not you have high or low expectations of the movie doesn’t matter because given the historic nature and reputation of the franchise, this is something that fans have been clamoring for for years.

At the same time Blizzard is also banking on the possibility that the movie will help increase World of Warcraft subscribers, which is why they have recently announced a promo that ties in with the movie and the game, one of which will involve moviegoers receiving a free copy of the game if they were to redeem it.

According to Blizzard, “Anyone who buys a ticket to see Warcraft at participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theaters, and Edwards Theaters locations in the United States will receive a free digital copy of World of Warcraft. Members of the Regal Crown Club will also have the opportunity to enter to win two tickets to BlizzCon 2016.”

This promo also extends to other parts of the world like Australia and New Zealand, Europe, and various countries in Asia – pretty much all the locations that the World of Warcraft servers are based in. This is in addition to the transmog items that was announced last week. Will we be seeing a jump in subscribers after the movie? We suppose it will depend on how good/bad it is.
