moto z playThe other day Motorola unveiled the Moto Z and Moto Z Force and several Moto Mods, which on the surface is all well and good, but as it turns out maybe that’s not all they have up their sleeves. According to the rumors, it seems that Motorola has additional Moto Z and Moto Mods that they have yet to announce.

A post from HelloMotoHK has revealed that Motorola might have at least one more Moto Z handset they have yet to reveal in the form of the Moto Z Play. While the current Moto Z is quite the powerhouse, the Moto Z Play is supposed to be a more pared down version of the phone, with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 2GB of RAM under the hood.

Interestingly enough these sound like specs we might have expected from the Moto G lineup, so we’re not sure if this really fits the new Moto Z phones, which according to Motorola is aimed more towards the “tech-hungry” consumer. Also in terms of Moto Mods, a leak from last month revealed a camera mod which was not announced.

Based on this it has been speculated that there could be additional mods that have yet to be revealed, one of which is the camera mod and the other being an “Adventure Amp” which basically gives your phone underwater capabilities. Take it with a grain of salt, but we have to wonder if these rumors are true, why were the not announced at Lenovo’s event? Could it be that they weren’t ready yet?
