Word on the street has it that HTC will be returning to the Nexus program with two handsets – the HTC Marlin and Sailfish. Both these devices are said to be Nexus phones which sounds like HTC will be hogging the Nexus lineup this year, even though we had heard rumors that Huawei could be considering making another Nexus run.

That being said, we’ve already seen 3D renderings of both phones, and now it looks like we have a video to match. We should point out that the original 3D renderings were put together by the folks at Android Police. They based in on what they’ve seen and the information they got, meaning that they might not necessarily be 100% accurate, but they should still give us a clue as to what to expect all the same.

This video is pretty much the same thing except that the renders have been put into a video, thus giving us a look at the various angles of the phone, but once again we should remind you guys that these are user-created renders meaning they’re not “leaked” from HTC directly, so as is the case with rumors, they’re probably best taken with a grain of salt.

We do have to admit that we like what we are seeing so far. The phones look sleek and they do sport that trademark HTC design. The back of the phone is a bit odd as it has a portion covered by glass. We’re not sure if that was an aesthetic choice or if there was a functional reason for it. Either way we do expect Google to announce new Nexus phones in the later part of the year, so hopefully more information will be headed our way soon.
