It was announced late last month that T-Mobile’s prepaid brand metroPCS will soon start selling the iPhone. Apple’s smartphones were first made available at select metroPCS stores in Florida and it was said that they will be available from nationwide stores in the coming weeks. The iPhone is now available from metroPCS stores nationwide, a promotion is being offered to bring in more customers who want to purchase a new iPhone to pick one up from the prepaid brand.

The iPhone has rolled out to more than 5,000 metroPCS stores across the United States over this weekend. The prepaid brand has added the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and iPhone 5s to its lineup. Prices start at $649 for iPhone 6s, $749 for iPhone 6s Plus, $349 for iPhone SE and $199 for iPhone 5s.

A promotion is being offered to customers who are opening to porting their number to metroPCS. They can get $60 off any smartphone as long as they port their number, this offer is valid for iPhones as well, T-Mobile CEO John Legere has confirmed.

This is the first time that the iPhone is officially available from metroPCS itself. There was never anything stopping iPhone owners from taking their unlocked devices over to this prepaid network, but users can now simply walk into one of its stores, buy an iPhone there and start using it on metroPCS right away. It doesn’t get simpler than that.
