pizza hutWant to order a pizza? If you do, there are multiple options that you can go about doing it. One would be to order via the phone which is the old school way of doing things. Then you can order from the pizza store’s website where they are less judgemental about your triple extra cheese toppings, and there are mobile apps.

Now it looks like Pizza Hut has recently introduced a fourth option in the form of chatbots. This chatbot was created with Conversable and will work on Facebook Messenger and Twitter. If you’re familiar with chatbots, then you’re probably familiar with how this works. Users will be able to chat with Pizza Hut’s chatbot and through a conversational system will be able to place their order.

This means instead of mindlessly clicking, you can actually have a “conversation” with the bot that makes it feel less robotic and more human-like. We reckon it might actually be less efficient than navigating Pizza Hut’s website since you’d have to type out your orders, but if for whatever reason you think a chatbot might be more useful, then you have this as an alternative.

According to Baron Concors, the Chief Digital Officer at Pizza Hut, “The new Pizza Hut social ordering platform is another example of making it easy for our customer to order their favorites from Pizza Hut. We are constantly pursuing ways to simplify our ordering experience. This platform allows our consumers to quickly order or get information where they are already spending a great deal of their time.”
