windows-10-update-95-percent
If you have a PC running a genuine installation of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 then you are eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10. Actually, you have been eligible for this free upgrade for an entire year ever since Windows 10 was released on July 29th, 2015. Microsoft made it clear from the start that this offer is limited to one year only and that year is up tomorrow, so this is quite literally your last call for the free Windows 10 upgrade.

Any and all users who are on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 right now can upgrade to Windows 10 for free no matter where they are in the world. Microsoft has offered the latest and greatest iteration of its OS for free to everybody.

Some have even criticised the company for being too aggressive with its push to get as many people on Windows 10 as possible. Lawsuits have been filed against it after it paid $10,000 to a woman who sued the company after a forced upgrade to Windows 10. Microsoft didn’t agree with the claim but paid her to avoid legal costs.

If you’ve been irked by frequent reminds from Microsoft that you should upgrade to Windows 10 then you will certainly be waiting for the deadline to cross. Those who just forgot and would like to jump to Windows 10 for free should upgrade their PCs right now. All upgrades to Windows 10 after July 29th, 2016 will cost at least $120.
