As far as video game movies are concerned, the general consensus seems to be that the Warcraft movie was a bit of a letdown. The good news is that we still have the Assassin’s Creed movie which has been set for a release later this year in December, meaning that the video game movie genre has another shot at redeeming itself.

In the meantime, a BTS video has been released. In the BTS video, it shows stuntman Damien Walters performing a 125-foot freefall jump called the “Leap of Faith”. The idea behind this jump is for the freerunner to dive off a high structure and to land unharmed, which in itself would be tricky but imagine doing it from that height!

As pointed out in the video, normally in such situations moviemakers would rely on digital effects to recreate the jump, which totally makes sense, but it seems that the Assassin’s Creed movie director Justin Kurzel felt that maybe performing the stunt in real life would have a bigger impact, something that we’re sure Christopher Nolan can agree with.

According to the video, this is the highest jump ever performed by a stuntman in over 35 years, and we have to say it is very impressive, and pretty scary too. In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, check out the BTS in the video above.
