Prisma Coffeemaker Will Make You Cold Brew In 10 Minutes

If you’re really into coffee, chances are you might have sampled a cold brew or two in your life, or maybe you’ve even tried to make your own. If you have, then you probably know how long the process is and it can take up to 12 hours, or in some cases some coffee connoisseurs even leave it for more than a day.

This is fine if a cold brew is a treat you want to indulge in every now and then, but if you’re addicted to cold brews or if you want it when you want it, then that would be a tricky task, or at least that was before the Prisma coffeemaker, which is a machine that can apparently make you a cold brew in about 10 minutes.

The specifics of how Prisma works remains unknown, and maybe it is a trade secret, but according to its creators, it involves a specialized vacuum infusion process that speeds up the process of making a cold brew considerably. The best part is that it seems like it doesn’t have any proprietary hardware, meaning that the filters and beans that you use are completely up to you.

We haven’t tried out Prisma for ourselves yet so we can’t say for sure how effective it is compared to the more traditional method of making cold brew, but if the idea intrigues you, a pledge of $229 on Indiegogo (super early bird special price) will nab you one unit upon its successful funding and release.
