iphone-7-plus-double-camera-BWhen the UK voted to leave the EU, a move known as Brexit, naturally there were financial consequences as a result of that. For example companies like OnePlus warned customers that they could see a price hike, while companies like HTC actually went ahead and increased the price of the HTC Vive due to the currency fluctuations.

Unfortunately for those of you who are living in the UK, it looks like Brexit has impacted the iPhones as well, with some models of the handset costing £100 more. For example last year the cheapest iPhone 6s was priced at £539, but now the cheapest iPhone 7 model will cost customers £599 instead.

The Plus models appear to have been affected more, with the iPhone 6s Plus last year priced at £619, while the iPhone 7 Plus is priced starting at £719. Like we said, this shouldn’t come as a surprise as Brexit has had quite the financial impact on the country, and while Apple does make some adjustments from time to time, we reckon this has to be one of the biggest changes yet.

It is unclear as to how much this will affect iPhone sales in the UK, especially when you consider the £100 is quite a big difference to pay within a span of a year. Also the iPhone is not the only product affected as Apple’s other products like the iPad are also more expensive now.
