Pokemon fans who are waiting for the new games to arrive later this year may want to pay attention. Nintendo has announced the launch of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon branded 3DS XL, the games will be out in November this year and with this console players will really be able to express this love for the franchise. The console is officially called the Solgaleo Lunala Black Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL.

Ardent fans would obviously know why the name contains “Solgaleo Lunala,” that’s because they are the main monsters that are on the poster of the new games. Solgaleo adorns the Pokemon Sun box art while Lunala can be found on the Pokemon Moon art box.

Since this is the Solgaleo Lunala Black Edition, this Nintendo handheld features both monsters on the lid and the back in black and white. Even though it features the main monsters, this console doesn’t actually come with a copy of Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon.

Customers who purchase this will have to purchase Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon like everyone else, so they only advantage they have here is purely cosmetic, since this console also costs $199.99 which is the same they would pay for any new Nintendo 3DS XL unit.

Nintendo is going to release the Solgaleo Lunala Black Edition on October 28th while Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be out on November 18th.
