HP announced the Elite X3 earlier this year. This Windows 10 Mobile-powered device is big on productivity. The handset has specifications that you would expect from a flagship smartphone and has been built with the business customer in mind. It delivers seamless phablet, laptop, and desktop productivity in a single device. Interested customers can now pre-order the HP Elite X3 in the United States from HP’s website.

HP Elite X3 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of storage. It also features a 5.96 Quad HD display, has dual-SIM support as well as enhanced security features meant for business users.

The optional Desk Dock and Mobile Extender accessories for this handset expand its functionality. The Desk Dock enables it to provide a complete desktop experience as it has a DisplayPort to connect an external monitor. The Mobile Extender provides a laptop experience by offering a 12.5 inch HD display, a full keyboard, and trackpad.

HP has now started taking pre-orders for the Elite X3 in the United States. It’s going to charge $799 for the unlocked and off contract version of the Elite X3. All units will ship with the Desk Dock accessory. The company’s online store mentions that pre-orders made today will be shipped on September 7th.
