Twitter launched the Moments feature about a year ago, it was certainly one of the biggest changes that the company made to its platform ever since it was launched. It enables users to follow along with sports, news, TV shows, and more with a curated Twitter experience. Since this feature was launched the control has firmly been in the hands of the able folks at Twitter HQ but that changes today as the Moments feature has now been opened up to all users.

Now that Moments is open to all users, anyone can create a Moment about any topic they want. Creators across the globe can now tell stories with tweets by simply creating a Moment for whatever they want.

Users will now see a new “create a Moment button” on Twitter’s website. Clicking on it enables them to add a series of tweets to the Moment and even add a cover photo for it. Tweets that they have liked or search for can particularly be added easily to the Moment.

Think of Moments as a feature that’s similar to Stories on Snapchat and Instagram. You’re being given the liberty to tell stories using content on Twitter. The microblogging network will certainly be hoping that opening up the feature to all users does wonders for the adoption of Moments.
