Dark Souls fans already know that it has been confirmed by Bandai Namco that only two DLCs will be released for Dark Souls 3. The first is called Ashes of Ariandel and it’s going to be released later this month. Bandai Namco has now released a new trailer for the first Dark Souls 3 DLC, the trailer shows off chaotic PvP battles that players will get to experience when the DLC finally arrives.
This DLC will take Dark Souls 3 players to the frozen land of Ariandel where they will be on the quest to discover a terrible secret. The brand new environment is complete with brand new enemies, challenges, and an exciting lore which expands the overall storyline of the game.
Dark Souls 3 Ashes of Ariandel DLC also brings new armor sets, weapons, and magic for players. Some new features for the multiplayer component are also included. As is sticks to the overall theme of this franchise, the first DLC for Dark Souls 3 has been rated “M” for Mature.
The latest trailer for the first DLC reveals just how it’s going to appeal to those who like intense PvP battles. It shows footage of players working together and invading the new environment.
Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 25th. It’s priced at $14.99. The second planned DLC for this game will arrive early next year.
