fantastic-beasts-eddie-redmayneThe Harry Potter series of movies ended quite a while back, with all of its cast moving onto bigger and better things. However if you love the Wizarding world so much, chances are you’re probably eagerly anticipating the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is set for a release on the 18th of November.

To celebrate the upcoming release, Google has announced that they have teamed up with the folks at Warner Bros. Pictures and have added a repertoire of Harry Potter spells to its Google voice search feature. According to Google, “If you want to try being a wizard, try casting spells on your Android phone: Just say ‘Ok Google’ followed by ‘Lumos’ or ‘Nox’ to turn your flashlight on and off. Try “Silencio” to silence the ringer and notifications.”

In addition to being able to cast spells on your phone, Google will also be adding the world of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in Google Street View which will let you explore the streets like in real-life, so head on over to the Google Maps website if you’d like to check the feature out for yourself.

There will also be tie-ins to virtual reality and Google’s Daydream View headset. According to Google, “You can wave a wand to explore the magic of Newt’s case, a treasure trove full of everything he needs to cast spells, solve puzzles and find his beasts.”
