Forza Horizon 3 was released in 2016 and its played by countless players across the globe. It happens to be the highest-rated Xbox One exclusive and the game is also available for Windows 10 PCs. Microsoft has confirmed today that Xbox One X enhancements are finally coming to this title. This means that Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One X 4K gaming support has arrived.

This is the first time that Forza Horizon 3 is going to run in native 4K (3840×2160) on a console. It was also one of the first titles that featured HDR On the Xbox One S. The additional graphical improvements enable the game to take full advantage of the Xbox One X’s power.

Forza Horizon 3 players on the Xbox One X can experience the game in native 4K resolution. The update also brings some additional visual updates which include improved car reflections and shadow resolutions, improved texture detail for road and terrain surfaces, and more.

Microsoft has also confirmed that the 4K resolution enhancements are also fully compatible with the Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels expansions that have been released for this title. It has released a new trailer today to highlight these visual enhancements.

The Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One X 4K update is going to be rolled out later today. It’s going to be available as a free update for all players that have an Xbox One X.
