Nintendo is gearing up to launch the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition later this month and it’s going to get us all excited about it by going full retro. It’s taking a walk back to the ’80s with the launch of the NES Classic Edition by conducting a special ’80s themed launch event and it’s even going to revive the Nintendo Power Line for a few days.

Fans who visit the Nintendo NY store in Rockefeller Plaza can get access to the ’80s themed launch event on the night of November 10th. Nintendo’s properly nostalgic Power Line is going to be revived for three days only on the launch weekend which runs from November 11th to November 13th.

If you weren’t around the ’80s, the Nintendo Power Line was a much-loved service back in the day which enabled fans to talk to Nintendo Game Play Counselors that offered helpful tips and tricks about the company’s consoles.

Nintendo is bringing back a fully automated version of the Power Line and it will run from November 11th to November 13th between the hours of 6 am to 7 pm PT each day. fans can dial (425) 885-7529 to hear recorded tips for select games and even hear behind-the-scenes stories from original Nintendo Game Play Counselors.

The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is a mini-console that comes with 30 classic NES games like Super Mario Bros., Metroid, Donkey Kong, PAC-MAN, and more. It costs $59.99 and will be available for purchase starting November 11th.
